Meet Mrs. Miller
I
have been the Elementary Counselor at Morris Central School since
1992. I am married and have two teenage daughters ages 18 and 15. I
grew up in Laurens, N.Y. and graduated from Laurens Central School. I
attended SUNY Cortland where I received a B.A. degree in Sociology with a
Criminology Concentration and a Spanish Minor. I completed a Master's
Degree in Counseling Education with a Certification of Advanced
Study from SUNY Oneonta.
Upon completing my
master's degree, I was employed by Morris Central School in 1992 and
have become very attached to the students, parents, and Morris
community.
During my
"free time", my husband and I are very involved with our daughter's
school and athletic events. I have recently taken up running with a
group of women known as, the "Power of the Pack", lead by Erin Moussa,
an elementary teacher at Morris Central School.
My favorite
thing about working as a counselor in a small school is it affords me
the opportunity to watch the children of the Morris community grow and
develop into successful individuals from Pre-K through their senior year
of high school.
